Honda Other description

This is a 1978 Honda CB400t, This bike is almost in running condition i just never had the funds to finish it. It has almost all the parts to the bike except a battery box and the bracket that goes to the tail light. All the running lamps blinkers work on this bike along with the speedometer dashlights. The gas tank has some rust in it and i never got around to cleaning it out, i was told by the honda dealership there is a cleansing kit you can get for 50 bucks that will take care of that. I have ran a gas line to the carbs and the bike did fire up for me. This bike does NOT have a title or license plates. But for someone who wanted to take the time to get a title or someone who needs parts look no further this is a great start. The chrome is in decent shape and there is a dent on 1 side of the gast tank. I have the key to this bike and the ignition system works fine. Any questions or concerns you have feel free to contact me at XXXX@live.com

Classic Off-Road Bikes Featured in Braving Baja: 1,000 Miles to Glory Exhibition

Sat, 06 Apr 2013

Back in the 60s, American Honda tested the durability of its motorcycles by sending a CL72 Scrambler on a 950-mile trek through rocks, sand washes, dry lake beds, mountain passes and paved roads. Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.

Been blasting all around the UK on my Crosstourer DCT this summer. The bike is mega in a Range Rovery-posh and grunty kind of a way. But it’s that engine and gearbox that transcend the normal into new realms of brilliance. I’ve been doing my best not to bore people too much about DCT but it’s hard.

Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Race One #493744055 / gettyimages.com Normally a strong starter, Sykes had a nearly disastrous beginning in Race One, while up front, Suzuki‘s Alex Lowes battled with Guintoli and Baz.
