This auction is for a 1977 Honda CT70. This vintage bike is a true survivor with 1101 miles on the odometer. Note: The speedometer stopped working recently. I suspect it is the cable, however I have not taken the time to properly diagnose the problem. Last fall I replaced the spark plug, condensor, points, seat cover, and battery. This bike starts on the first or second kick and runs strong. It does not smoke. This Honda is 100% street legal. It is currently registered and titled in Pennsylvania, in my name. If you are looking to buy a vintage Honda 70 on E-Bay, beware that many of them are not titled and therefore are not capable of being legally registered. This one is ready for the road! 2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.
