Mostly restored to the limit of my finances and in very nice condition. In the past 10 years I have had the bike torn down to the frame and had it painted. The frame and other parts powder coated and all body panels and engine painted. Also had new piston rings, valves, valve guides and seals installed as well as a new clutch and alternator. I also had all new steel braided brake lines fabricated and installed all new control cables. The instruments were all refurbished and the carbs overhauled this summer. The list goes on and on. Johnny Depp causes high-speed crash
Fri, 15 Mar 2013I can understand that seeing Johnny Depp appear from out of nowhere might be distracting to a rider. Obviously not content with damage caused to the Honda in the video above (as a direct result of his on-track presence) Depp gets on the bike to go for a spin then crashes the bike himself. This is despite his previous Harley riding experience and some crystal clear advice about the 'killer clutch'.
Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
Honda's latest Cub
Fri, 18 May 2012Honda released their original C100 Super Cub way back in 1958 when other bikes at the time proved to be notoriously unreliable and difficult to ride. Since then, they have sold over 27 million C90s, with the step-through framed bike proving to be easy to ride and even easier to maintain. Looking like it's come straight from the film WALL-E, the new UNI-CUB might have two wheels but any similarity with a Honda C90 ends there.
