Honda Other description

I bought this XL250 off of a family friend. It just sat in his barn for 3 years. He purchased it with an XL350 as a pair. He was more interested in the XL350 so this one just sat. After 3 years it started right up. I bought it off him, and started to clean it up. It was missing the blinkers, and had a broken choke cable. I replaced the cable with a correct Honda cable. The blinker housings are replicas of original Honda blinkers. I bought the original Honda bolts off EBay to mount everything. The oil was changed. It has a new spark plug. Starts and runs great. I think it has the original tires on it. They still hold air with no leaks. They are a little dry rotted. The high beam on the headlight does not work. The horn works, but is weak. The fork lock is missing. There is supposed to be a "XL250" sticker on the air box cover. You can buy reproductions of it. The value of these have sky rocketed since I have owned it. I have no use for the bike, I am a car guy.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2

Thu, 01 May 2014

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike.  The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.

2022 Honda ADV350 First Look (from Afar)

Tue, 23 Nov 2021

We saw a bunch of Honda X-ADV scooters on our pass through Rome a few weeks ago, and felt jealousy. When American Honda invited us to ride a new minimoto last week, we hoped against hope… alas, it was the Navi. For the new year, we can be even more covetous, as Honda Europe now has an ADV350 that’s bigger, badder, and cooler.

The Private Life of Dani Pedrosa – Video

Wed, 02 May 2012

Dani Pedrosa is probably the most enigmatic of MotoGP’s “Aliens”. He doesn’t have the charisma of a Valentino Rossi, he doesn’t attract controversy like teammate Casey Stoner, and he doesn’t have the exuberant victory celebrations of Jorge Lorenzo. There’s also a large segment of American fans who still can’t forgive Pedrosa for taking out his teammate Nicky Hayden at Estoril in 2006, almost costing the Kentucky Kid the championship.
