This is a 1974 Honda XL250 Enduro Dual Sport 4 Stroke Motorcycle. It has a rebuilt engine, new Kenda tires that have never been driven on, new UFO fenders, new clear hand guards, new handlebars, control handles, perches, and mirrors. Has a new aftermarket front ferring. It does have a Clarke gas tank (the paint is peeling on it). All new cables, brakes, battery, speedometer, and tachometer. The seat was newly recovered. The speedometer only reads 1.4 miles since the entire bike was rebuilt. It has a new chain and sprockets as well. It does need a left case gasket and should be good to go. The motorcycle runs, but I am having to get rid of it because after rebuilding it, I found out I was going to have to have knee surgery and this is a kickstart only bike and I will not be able to start it. I have another bike that is electric start, so this one has to go. There are many other extra parts that go with the bike if you want them. This is an "as is" sale. 2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced

The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.

2013 Mugen Shinden Ni Electric Race Bike Revealed

Noted Honda tuning company Mugen has revealed the second generation version of its electric racebike which will race in the TT Zero at the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Shinden Ni (“Shinden” meaning “God of Electricity” while “Ni” is the number two in Japanese) will once again be ridden by 19-time TT winner John McGuinness. Mugen has been working on the Shinden Ni since last year’s TT Zero, using data collected in the race and during tests at circuits in Japan.
