Up for auction is a good running XL250 4 cycle scrambler that came with a collection of bikes I purchased. I had the bike gone thru last summer and it hasn't been run since then. it had the gas tank flushed and sealed, carb rebuilt, new plugs and points, and battery. (Although the battery is now dead, I'm not sure if you can bring it back or not) The bike runs great and only has a relatively low 10,000 miles. The tires are good and the only thing I can see it needs is the rubber from the carb to the air cleaner. The bike has a clear title. If I missed something I can be reached at 507-456-2957. The process is tedious, and even if permission is granted, there are strict limitations as to what the material may or may not be used for. So when Honda decided to conduct its own private test (which Yamaha also joined), at the Circuit of the Americas, it was free from any and all Dorna mandates.

Mon, 09 Sep 2013The World Superbike Championship was off this past weekend but it looks like there will be some significant changes to the grid when the series resumes next weekend at Istanbul Park in Turkey. Veteran racer Toni Elias has quit his Moto2 team, reportedly to sign with the Red Devils Roma squad to ride the Aprilia RSV4 Factory for the remaining four rounds of the season. Elias will replace Michel Fabrizio who is reportedly unhappy with late payments from the team’s sponsors.
