THIS IS A RECENT REAL BARN FIND, A 1972 HONDA SL175 MOTOSPORT WITH ONLY 1994. ORIGINAL MILES. BIKE LOOKS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE BRIDGESTONE TIRES. WHEN WE GOT IT THE LEFT SIDE COVER WAS MISSING SO WE AQUIRED A NOS NEW ORIGINAL HONDA ONE FOR IT. THE BIKE WAS JUST SERVICED BY A CERTIFIED HONDA TECH. AND STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS AND RIDES GREAT. INSIDE THE GAS TANK HAD SOME SURFACE RUST SO IT WAS CLEANED AND SEALED INSIDE. THE BIKE IN GENERAL IS IN GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME RUST SPOTS ON THE UPPER FORK TUBES, HEADLIGHT EARS, AND SOME OF THE OTHER CHROMED PIECES. SEAT IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO CRACKS, CUTS OR RIPS AND STILL HAS THE TOOL KIT MOUNTED UNDERNEATH. ALL THE LIGHTS, HORN ETC. WORK FINE. BIKE COMES WITH A CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE. Stoner Tests Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Retired two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner returned to the track this week to test Honda‘s RC213V racer as well as the company’s new RCV1000R production racer at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. This was Stoner’s first test on the production racer after rain cut short a previous test session in August. The weather again threatened to derail Honda’s testing plans, wiping out the first day of the two-day test but Stoner was able to finally able to put in some laps on the production racer and came away impressed.

Thu, 10 May 2012Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.
