1972 Honda XL 250 motosport .First year XL ,bike is a nice survivor , titled ,with a little more attention very nice bike . Here is the rundown on what it needs .The light switch is run thru an aftermarket switch , Basically the right hand switch needs repair or replaced , choke cable is not there .I just put my finger on the choke lever and 1 or 2 kicks and she starts right up . , I just use original key for kill switch ,which also operates fork lock . Bike runs , shifts and rides nicely , but I'm at 7,000 ft. + elevation and may need a carb adjustment to stay up at this elevation. Needs a new battery . Original 6030 miles w/ original key . Seat is very nice , tires are very good dual sports with very few miles on them ,new coil .Tank has some rust but good and very straight overall/no bondo ,and original paint. Good brakes ,lights were working ,see no reason why they are not now . .I just havent rode it for a while.Speedometer and tach function as they should. Overall ,It is a well cared for Survivor .please ask questions as needed ,I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase , I also have a parts XL that I may sell cheaply with this . If the Buy it now is met , I will throw the parts bike in ! I can deliver to forward air frieght for 100.00,they place them in their crate and it is very reasonable , or I may be able to deliver personally as well for a fee . Pedrosa: most wins, least successful
Wed, 11 May 2011Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
Baker Vs. Marquez In Superprestigio Superfinal – Video
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Marc Marquez is an incredibly talented motorcycle racer, both on asphalt and in the dirt. His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.
