Honda Other description

739 ORIGINAL MILE HONDA 125SS

ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL, EXTRA KEY, DOCUMENTS ETC.

WHEN I BOUGHT THE BIKE IT WAS IN THE ORIGINAL OWNERS GARAGE. HE DROPPED THE BIKE ON HIS DRIVEWAY AND BROKE THE HEADLIGHT. HE REPLACED THE LIGHT BUT NEVER PAINTED IT. HE SWORE HE WOULD NEVER RIDE IT AGAIN AND JUST TUCKED IT IN HIS GARAGE.

I SHIPPED IT TO MY LOCAL HONDA DEALER AND THEY DID A TUNE-UP/OIL CHANGE ETC. I USED IT SPARINGLY FOR 2 YEARS THEN IT HAD A GASKET ON THE GAS PETCOCK LEAK. I DRAINED THE GAS AND IT'S SAT IN MY GARAGE FOR 10 YEARS. BECAUSE OF THIS THERE IS SOME RUST INSIDE THE TANK. THE NEW OWNER WILL HAVE TO FLUSH THE TANK AND HAVE IT SEALED AGAIN.

UNBELIEVABLE ORIGINAL 125SS

The modern interpretation draws on that heritage with the upswept muffler with stainless steel heat shield, round tank with tank pads, and gaitered forks.

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

Last week we revealed that Honda are likely to launch the new Honda Motocompo - over 30 years since the first version. I must admit, I'd never heard of it before we ran the news story, so I got onto YouTube and tried to find footage of a very efficient and humble Japanese businessman unloading one out of the boot of a Honda Civic in order to minimise their carbon footprint, but no... I couldn't find one.
