Honda Nighthawk description

Up for your consideration is a 1983 CB650SC or Night Hawk 650.
This bike presents very well with less than the normal wear for a 30 year bike. Not quite what I consider vintage but a good rider, comfortable and quick. This bike has just over 47k miles on it but again does not show it.There are two very small dings in the tank, one side panel is missing the decal. The bike has been fitted ( by PO)with a custom Corbin seat (with two small flaws- cig burns) and is nice and comfortable.Everything electrical works as it should (front turn signals not mounted but included), tires are decent  and the bike has had a recent oil change.
Bike has a clear Florida title.
Please look closely at the pictures and email with any questions prior to the auctions ending, I'll help in anyway that I can. The bike for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

No warranties expressed or implied , and the sale is "as is where is". Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final and full payment is due within 7 days after the auction has ended. There is a $250 non refundable deposit due via Paypal within 48 hours of auctions end.

You may pick up the bike locally or I can work with your shipper. I prefer the bike gone as soon as practical but will store the bike for 30 days, if needed and only after full payment.

Will the road-going RCV look like this?

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming.  Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?

WSBK: 2012 Misano Results – Video

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.

Honda Announces 400cc Version of 500-Series Engine

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Honda has revealed a new, smaller-displacement variation of the 470cc parallel-twin engine introduced on its new CBR500, CB500F and CB500X models. The new engine has a bore of 67mm, just like Honda‘s 500-series engine, but a stroke of 56.6mm instead of the longer 66.8mm. The result is an engine displacement of 399cc, which makes the new engine a better fit for markets such as Japan license restrictions are much stricter for engines larger than 400cc.
