The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Honda CG110 – the $630 Motorcycle for Africa

Honda is introducing a new motorcycle for the African market that will be priced at about US$630. Produced in Nigeria for sale across the continent, the new Honda CG110 is designed to offer good fuel economy and durability while meeting the challenge of Nigerian road conditions. Honda plans to sell 40,000 units per year at a price of 100,000 Nigerian naira.

2013 Honda CRF250L Dual-Sport Officially Announced for US

As expected, Honda has officially announced it will introduce its new CRF250L to the U.S., offering it as a 2013 model for $4,499. The 2013 Honda CRF250L is powered by a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 249cc Single inherited from the CBR250R, so it carries the same low-friction innovations such as the roller rocker arm design. Like the CBR, the CRF250L is produced in Thailand, helping keep costs low.
