Honda Magna description

1997 Honda Magna VF750, TIme to start having kids so I need to sell the bike. This 1997 Honda Magna 750cc has been a daily driver up until a year and a half ago. Since then I have been starting it up once a week to keep the engine clean of deposits. It is in good shape for being 16 years old. Newer tires with 1/4 tread still on them. I average about 47 Miles to the gallon on it. Starts up every time without a problem, let it warm for 5 minutes and your ready to ride. It has a ripped seat and is missing the right side cover as well as the right chrome cap on the right handle grip. all small inexpensive pieces. I am open to trades and will take the best offer i recieve. Call text or email me with any questions Bobby 949 302 1412 Bobbydean8584 ,000.00 9493021412

Dovi given the 1000fps treatment

Fri, 22 Jul 2011

Andrea Dovizioso describes the perfect lap from the start to the corners. All three of the Repsol Honda riders have very different riding styles and comparing the above footage of Dovi against Stoner you can see that he is a lot more conservative on the bike than a ragged lap of his Australian team-mate. Still incredibly rapid though.

BMW 1000RR and the Honda C70, are they indestructible?

Wed, 20 Apr 2011

I’ve managed 1374 miles on the Michelin Power Pures (mostly on track) and although we’ve had some decent temperatures they still look like new so there’s plenty meat left for another month at least. I’ve been running them at 30psi front and 32psi rear and find they warm up after a few miles but I wouldn’t say the temperature comes any quicker than any of the competition so it has to be four miles before I get brave. I’ve had a few out the seat moments with my BMW but I have got the rear suspension  set pretty hard (8 rebound,8 compression, two turns on pre load) and in slick mode, so 190bhp in first gear at the Knockhill hairpin is always going to be dodgy.

2010 Honda V4 Teaser [video]

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Hit the jump to see the new promo video (you can hear what the motorcycle sounds like!) and an interview with design project leader, Teofilo Plaza.
