VFR800F Coming to US as 2014 Honda Interceptor

We’ll admit, we weren’t confident Honda would import the VFR800F to these shores when it was first announced at last fall’s EICMA show in Milan. As such, we are pleased to report American Honda is bringing back the V-4 sport-tourer to the U.S. market as the Honda Interceptor.

Naked 150SS Racer Concept turned into a production model.A show bike with a spectacular design and a cocky “racing” name was presented in March at the motor show in Bangkok, and starting with autumn it turned into a serial CB150R bike. The motor is a modest 150cc with two camshafts, liquid cooling and a six-speed gearbox. The CB150R features an inverted fork, a front caliper radial mount brake system and optional ABS.

If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.
