Honda Magna description

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, IS MY WONDERFUL 1ST YEAR V65 MAGNA VF1100C, WITH ORIGINAL PAINT.

PLEASE SUPERSIZE THE PICTURES, SO YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE WHAT BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CONDITION THIS 1983 SUPERBIKE IS.

YES, ITS A SUPERBIKE, A CRUISER SUPERBIKE, WITH 100 H.P. AND WILL DO THE QUARTER MILE IN 10.93, ACCORDING TO CYCLE MAGAZINE 1983!

THE BIKE HAS A OPEN AND CLEAN MASSACHUSETTS TITLE AND BILL OF SALE, READY FOR TRANSFER. I HAVE A OPEN TITLE FOR THIS BIKE, JUST LIKE I GOT THEM. I WILL SIMPLY PASS THEM ALONG TO YOU.

IF YOU WOULD PREFER A NEW ONE, IN MY NAME, NO PROBLEM. I AM HERE FOR THE BUYER. EMAIL TO DISCUSS.

THE BIKE, AS YOU CAN SEE IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE COSMETIC CONDITION.

IT HAS MINOR BLEMISHES AND MINOR WEAR AND TEAR.

I BOUGHT THE BIKE FROM THE SECOND OWNER.   THE SECOND OWNER BOUGHT IT IN 2002, WITH 20,000 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT.

IN 2009, THE SECOND OWNER HAD  MATCHING CONTINENTAL TIRES INSTALLED. THEY ARE DATE CODED TIRES, 45 WEEK, 08 FOR YR.  THE TIRES HAVE A FEW HUNDRED MILES ON THEM.

THE BIKE SAT UNUSED SINCE 2010!!

THE CARBS WERE CLEANED AND RE INSTALLED IN 2015. THE BIKE HAS ALL THE STOCK AIR CLEANER SYSTEM IN PLACE.

THE AIRBOX IS NOT QUITE MATED ALL THE WAY TO CARBS. YOU JUST NEED TO SPEND SOME TIME FIDDLING WITH IT, AND GET ALL 4 BOOTS ON.

I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL HONDA SERVICE MANUAL FOR THIS BIKE, BONUS!!!

SECOND OWNER STATED HE PARKED THE BIKE DUE TO CARBURETOR ISSUES. IN 2015, HE REMOVED THE CARBS AND HAD THEM CLEANED.

I HAVE NOT BOUGHT A BATTERY FOR THIS BIKE YET. I PLAN ON INSTALLING A NEW BATTERY AND UPDATING THIS AUCTION.

THE BIKE SHOULD START WITH FUEL.

THE MAIN FUEL TANK IS EMPTY AND DRY. THE LOWER ONE STILL HAS FUEL IN IT. THE BIKE HAS FACTORY FILTERS.

THE GAS TANK HAS NO DENTS, NO DINGS.

THE PAINT IS ORIGINAL. IT HAS A FEW MINOR WEAK SPOTS ON RIGHT SIDE OF THE TANK. I AM POINTING TO ONE LITTLE SUCH BLEMISH. ABOVE THAT YOU CAN SEE SOME "WEAK" PAINT AREA.

THE GAS TANK IS NICE FOLKS. I MENTIONED SOME MINOR BLEMS.

THE GAS TANK PAINT IS VERY NICE AND ORIGINAL.   IT HAS MINOR BLEMISHES,  BUT NO DENTS AND NO DINGS !!!

THE SIDE COVERS ARE VERY NICE, WITH MINOR BLEMS. CLEAN AND BRIGHT SIDE COVERS.

I JUST GOT THE BIKE FOLKS AND I HOPE TO PASS IT ALONG TO A VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE ENTHUSIAST.

ALL DISC BRAKES WORK!

I DO PLAN ON TINKERING WITH THE BIKE AND I WILL UPDATE.

**IT IS NOT EASY FOR ME TO FIND THESE VINTAGE BIKES FOLKS. PLS, APPRECIATE WHAT YOU ARE VIEWING.

THIS IS A SURVIVOR 1983 HONDA V65 VF1100C MAGNA!! 1ST PRODUCTION YR!

NO RESERVE.    GOES HOME TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.

PAYPAL IS FOR THE DEPOSIT ONLY, THANK YOU.

PLEASE PAY THE BALANCE ACCORDING  THE PAYMENT SECTION. THERE ARE SEVERAL PAYMENT OPTIONS. PAYPAL IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR LOOKING AT MY ORIGINAL V65! HOPE IT IS GOING TO BE YOURS SOON!

I WILL PURCHASE A NEW BATTERY AND AT LEAST START THE BIKE,

I AM HERE AFTER THE SALE ALSO.  YOUR SATISFACTION IS PARAMOUNT TO ME.

I WANT A HAPPY AND INFORMED BUYER, OR THERE IS NO POINT.

PLEASE, SEARCH THE W.W.W. FOR A V65 AND THEN BID TO WIN THIS ONE!

WSBK 2013: Donington Park Race Report

Mon, 27 May 2013

Tom Sykes had an outstanding weekend in front of his home fans, scoring a pair of wins at the World Superbike Championship round at the United Kingdom’s Donington Park. The Kawasaki racer led every session from first qualifying onwards, before leading all 23 laps in both races for the double. The double victory brings Sykes to within 4 points of series leader Sylvain Guintoli who had a decent weekend himself with a pair of podium finishes.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.
