I ride it 70 miles round trip to work on 75 mph roads and through the city in Waco Texas.The only mechanical note is that if the bike is parked on the kick stand and not the center stand it will puff smoke on start up after sitting over night. 2008 Honda Gold Wing 1800 (2008)
I do not need to say much about this bike as it speaks for itself. The history is, it it was bought new in late 2008 by my father, who rode it for a couple of years before falling ill with lung cancer. At which time his motorcycle was put in storage. I personally did the oil and filter changes as well as put in a new battery to make ride ready this past December. At least Honda’s had the decency to change its nomenclature over the years to give the impression of evolution. Kawasaki is standing pat with the 292 cc Single that’s powered its KLX since 1996, along with its KLX nomenclature.
