    1981 GOLDWING  GL 1100  Black,  32,000 miles, well maintained.  Will cruise easily at at 65 to 75 and still have room to throttle up to 80 or 90 to pass.  Radio, volt meter, upgraded brake and clutch levers.  The gas tank has been cleaned and sealed, new fuel filter.  New timing belts, carbs are overhauled, new spark plug and battery. The clutch and brakes are perfect.   The compression is good on all cylinders above 155.  A few cosmetic upgrades:  the lower fairing fins, larger driver pegs,a headlight hood, and highway pegs.

    Great running and looking Honda Goldwing GL1100 with homebuilt trike conversion(4 wheeler) 58,000 miles, everything runs and works, battery 1 year old. only one issue,oil  drain plug drips about 2 drops per day which I just never got around to fixing. I love to ride, but my chiropractor says "you can walk or ride, but not both", so my bike has to go.nothing broken or rotted.

    For your consideration.  A 1979 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, has been setting since 1991 in a garage in Charleston , WV.  Has 1991 CA plates on it.  I am listing this for the owner, he moved here in 1991 and would not ride with a helmet.  The bike is equipped with air forks , a fork brace, air shocks on the rear, and Honda line luggage.  Do not know if the engine will turn over, most bodywork and fairing are in good condition and should cleanup pretty well.  Title misplaced years ago. I would rate the over condition at least 7 out of 10, with some time and cleaning it could be a 9 out of ten. clean title.

Engine starts and runs.  Has a fresh battery.  I used my carb sync fuel tank and fresh fuel and it started right up.  Carbs leak at the fuel bowels from dried out gaskets.  Tank on bike was stored full and is in good condition.  Overall condition of the bike is fair to good.  I only sprayed off the dust from sitting in a basement for the last 16 years.  Chrome is decent on most parts.  Front wheel is good.  Rear wheel has rust on all the spokes, but rim is good.  Exhaust is in good condition with no rot and quiet original baffles. Vetter Windjammer fairing is complete with working radio and is in good condition.  Windshield has small stress cracks at all the mounting screws, but is in usable condition as is.  Luggage is generic and has all the keys.  Seat has some minor tears.  This is a good parts bike or restore.  It is complete except the mirrors are missing.  Brake calipers will need freed up.  I have them disconnected to move it.  Tires hold air, but are naturally shot from age.

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

That represents a 2.0% increase over the results of the same quarter the previous year, which doesn’t sound like much.
