Honda Gold Wing description

2013 Honda Gold Wing F6B, The all new 2013 HONDA GOLD WING F6B is now in stock!!!!!!!!! MUST SEE - Think of it as the Gold Wing’s bad-boy cousin. The all-new Honda Gold Wing F6B takes the superb six-cylinder engine and advanced chassis of the touring legend, then strips off the rear top box, chops down the windshield, and covers everything in midnight black to create a premium cruiser like nothing else on the road. Long, low, lean and mean, the F6B is built for the boulevard, and built to turn heads. Thanks to its touring-bike underpinnings, it hasn’t forgotten how to carry you long distances in ultimate comfort, too. Where the Gold Wing coddles you and your passenger in a luxurious cocoon, the F6B lets the wind and the scenery wash over you. The fairing still protects you from the elements, but the shorty windshield gives you an unobstructed view of the road ahead. The F6B’s slimmer design also improves its power-to-weight ratio, which makes the legendary 1,832 cc six-cylinder engine even more impressive when you twist the throttle. And the lighter weight helps the F6B handle with an agility that you really have to experience to believe. Four-speaker sound system with iPod and USB interface, Dual-Combined Braking System with ABS, spacious saddlebags... the Honda Gold Wing F6B leaves other premium cruisers way, way behind.

2014 AMA Supercross – Las Vegas Results

Mon, 05 May 2014

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.

Honda Announces 400cc Version of 500-Series Engine

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Honda has revealed a new, smaller-displacement variation of the 470cc parallel-twin engine introduced on its new CBR500, CB500F and CB500X models. The new engine has a bore of 67mm, just like Honda‘s 500-series engine, but a stroke of 56.6mm instead of the longer 66.8mm. The result is an engine displacement of 399cc, which makes the new engine a better fit for markets such as Japan license restrictions are much stricter for engines larger than 400cc.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
