Honda Gold Wing description

It's with heavy heart that I sell my F6B. I'm no longer going to tour (my wife won't go with me) and I'm going to downsize or buy a vehicle we can tour together in like a convertible or Jeep.

This was purchased new from Honda of Russellville, Arkansas (Special Edition #10) and the color is magnificent. It has clearcoat, so no paint issues here. It has a center-stand but otherwise a standard bike, not a Deluxe model.

Upgrades/Accessories:

- Ultimate King Seat with adjustable backrest (interchangeable between rider and passenger)
- Horizon LST Helibars - the ultimate handlebar risers with (literally) an infinite range of adjustability.
- Fog lights
- Cee Bailey's amber fog light protectors (attached via mini, clear Velcro and easily removable)
- Honda standard vented windshield
- Handlebar Ram mount balls on each side
- Black Tulsa Air Wings (wind management right under the mirrors)
- dual USB accessory sockets in the fairing pocket (Currently has my GPS connected and my iPhone charger connected. GPS does not convey)
- Kuryakyn hitch (1 7/8" ball) with wiring harness (4-prong connector)
- Gerbing plug for portable heat controller
- Pigtail for battery tender
- current tires: front and rear - Dunlop E3 with about 5,000 miles on them.
Mic-O-Pegs KA black anodized highway pegs
- center stand, as mentioned
- religious (obsessively) changed oil and filter (Mobil 1 10w-40 synthetic; Honda filters)
- new spark plugs about 6000 miles ago.
- new brake fluid, clutch fluid, and final drive oil 5000 miles ago
- 2 key knobs - one formthe glove box, one for the saddlebags
- Honda Service Manual for GL1800B
- Throttle Lock for simulated cruise control (works very well)
- RAM Mount balls on each handlebar

Slight nicks from 28,000+ miles are pictured. The low reserve and the extra low Buy It Now price reflect those very slight blemishes, but it is priced this way for one simple reason: I want to sell and move on.

If you want the bike shipped, contact various reputable shipping companies available through eBay

28,594 miles and still riding a bit.

LOW, LOW RESERVE (DON'T ASK), priced to sell. It is truly an eye-catching bike.

Located in Waynesboro, VA

Also be posted on other selling sites, so don't hesitate, because this bike WILL sell. Thanks for looking!

Deposit is fully refundable if bike is not to your liking upon inspection.

2012 Honda VFR1200F Returns With Some New Features

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

When Honda first introduced the VFR1200F late in 2009, Editor Duke was an instant believer in the machine’s capabilities. It blurred the line between sportbike and tourer, and the addition of a true dual-clutch transmission that actually works was truly a surprise. Honda is bringing the VFR back for 2012, much to our pleasure, and thankfully the company has spent the past two years developing some subtle but significant changes to it.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
