Honda Gold Wing description

I have for sale a bought new 2012 Honda Goldwing gl1800 with 22 months of unlimited miles warranty left on it. has life time xm radio. new tires Dunlop E4's, oil change, tune up and brakes on the rear. just done within the last 2 months. bike has around 52,600 miles give or take I ride it still. has a taka windshield. floorboards, rack, lots of extras that go with it. also goes with the bike is a 2011 escapade elite trailer color match, has mags and a full size spare, trailer may have 20,000 miles pulled. I have a factory service manual for the bike. also have all receipts on everything ever done to it. and miles. the trunk was replaced twice under warranty from a crack that came up on the corner. Honda wouldn't do it anymore. they blamed the rack on the lid. almost all goldwings have this rack on them. so I used some plastic weld to repair it holding great. has cb radio nav system, flash drive in the trunk power point in the front glove box, driving lights,  the only reason I'm selling it is I haven't rode as much in the last few years. don't need the money so low balling me won't work. cash when picked up. no checks. please email me with any questions, thanks

Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.

Help settle an argument

I'm happy to admit that I'm a little bit different; I believe that brown is an underused colour in motorcycling and we need to move on from custom café racers and introduce a dustbin fairing craze - you know I'm right. So, as Ben Cope - known around the Visordown office for being rather stubborn - and I were looking over various scooters on the 'net we uncovered the above machine, Honda's Big Ruckus 250. Instantly I thought that the Big Ruckus was absolutely cool, whereas Ben likened it to a 'mobility scooter'.
