Honda Gold Wing description

This is a 2010 Honda Goldwing GL1800. It is a beautiful Pearl Yellow, with only 27953 miles. It does have a scratch on the right mirror that we are having painted this week. It will be very professionally done. The bike has navigation, am-fm stereo, reverse, cruise, spoiler, heated seats and grips, excellent condition, rides and drives perfect. Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.

Here at modern MO, we probably wouldn’t publish a road test of a new Honda without a few photos of the thing in action. Twenty years ago, though, there was probably a perfectly reasonable-sounding excuse: My dog ate the film, a bear ate the photographer… Most probably, somebody slud the shiny new Honda 919 down the road on the way to the shoot, and the show had to go on. Who knows?
