Honda reported sales of 4.137 million motorcycles over its first quarter ended June 30, 2014. That represents a 2.0% increase over the results of the same quarter the previous year, which doesn’t sound like much. But then you remember that 2.0% still represents an additional 83,000 motorcycles (including ATVs), such is the scale involved in a company like Honda.

Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. Aspar MotoGP Team Reveals Honda RCV1000R Livery

Team Aspar revealed its new livery for its Honda RCV1000R racebikes. The team revealed the silver and green livery in Malaysia, where riders Nicky Hayden and Hiroshi Aoyama will join the rest of the MotoGP grid in preseason test at the Sepang circuit. The colors represent the Malaysian energy drink manufacturer Drive M7 which signed a three-year deal to be the team’s title sponsor.
