2001 Honda Gold Wing 1800, Extremely clean 2001 Gold Wing GL 1800 with only 13,631 original miles! This looks to have the lowest miles of any other 2001 Gold Wing GL1800 in the Country! No signs of ever being dropped or laid over on it's side. Chrome has no signs of rust or peeling. Great condition overall, tires in great shape as well are the seats. Includes one helmet as well. This was a local trade in for our dealership, and appears to have been garage kept considering how clean the paint looks. Carfax indicates what looks to be 2 total owners. The majority of pit bikes are of Chinese origin and I guess, are best described as modern day monkey bikes. Yes Chinese, and I’ve witnessed them being thrashed round all day long without missing a beat, so Jonny Wong and co. are finally getting there on quality and reliability! Although Pit Bikes are designed for off road use, an extra few hundred quid spent on matching up wheels, fitting tarmac tyres and some crash protection will mean you’re track ready for a total of around £600.
Repsol Honda Signs Marquez and Pedrosa for 2013 MotoGP Season
Thu, 12 Jul 2012Honda Racing Corporation announced it has signed rising Spanish talent Marc Marquez to a two-year contract on its factory team. He will race alongside Dani Pedrosa who signed a two-year contract extension with Honda to race in the 2013 MotoGP Championship. Marquez currently leads the Moto2 Championship by 43 points for the Catalunya Caixa Repsol team after finishing second in the series in 2011.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season
Fri, 12 Apr 2013AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
