Honda Gold Wing description

HURRY! FALL RIDING SEASON ALMOST OVER

Up for sale is a 2008 Honda Goldwing GL1800. This bike looks, runs and drives great.  46,000 miles, new tires, front wheel blue “ring of fire”, new rear brake pads, has passenger intercom, FM/AM radio, Weather Band, CB, GPS navigation (with audible), AUX hookup, on-board ACC charge outlet with front/rear speakers, windshield vent, cruise control, heated grips/seats, and signal lights embedded in rear view mirrors. Lots of chrome including lower cowl, front fender rail, lighted spoiler, luggage rack and lighted trim on trunk and saddlebags, battery tender hookup, 2 matching helmets with J&M headsets, carpet for trunk and saddlebags and collapsible luggage.  Full shop manual, extra bulbs, owner’s manual all included. I'm the second owner...there was 11,000 on the odometer when purchased. As photo indicates there is a scratch on the right saddlebag and armrest...result of being blown over in a serious thunderstorm (tornado) in 2011. This bike is a great ride. It starts and runs excellent…

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
