Honda Gold Wing description

I am the original owner of this bike and purchased it in August 2005.  There is nothing wrong with the bike and the only reason I am selling it is because I purchased another full size bike and I do not need two.

The oil has been changed like clockwork every 4,000 miles.  New tires were put on about 9,000 miles ago (these are good for at least another 9,000).  New battery was installed this past August.  All safety recalls were tended to (no issues were found).

There are many add-ons to the bike - chrome, lights, Ultimate Big Boy seat, Traxxion dynamics suspension, Baker air wings. Muth mirrors - and much more.

There are some loose/broken wiring connections that affect some cosmetic lighting that can be diagnosed and repaired if you are inclined to (I wasn't) - the set of halogen lights underneath the mirrors, marker lights on forks, passenger floor boards, rear mud flap (all of these are evident in the pictures).  There is a 6 CD changer in the trunk that has 6 CDs stuck in it for the last seven years.  There is a Sirius XM satellite radio that also has a loose connection (I discontinued the service on it).  There is some flaking of the chrome on the floorboard (can be seen in the pictures) as well as on the rear flag mounts (the yellow flag does not come with the bike).  There is a tire pressure monitor that was an add-on but has been disconnected as it was very unreliable (get on your knees and check the tire pressure the old fashioned way).  Hairline crack on the trunk lid where the rear rack connected to the lid.

Overall the bike is in very good condition; you will not be disappointed.  Mileage may increase slightly if I decide to ride it.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Dani Pedrosa And Marc Marquez Playing On Trials Bikes – Video

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

An under appreciated pocket of our sport, trials riding is some of the most difficult there is. Combining balance, grace, and visual awareness — along with deft clutch and throttle hands — riding a trials bike is hard. Here Repsol Honda MotoGP riders Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez try their hands at it with the help of two of the best in the world: Toni Bui, world champion many times over, and his Repsol teammate Takahisa Fujinami.

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America

Thu, 29 May 2014

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.

2015 Honda CB300F Heading To Canada in White with ABS

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

When American Honda officially announced the new 2015 CB300F this morning, it didn’t take long to realize the naked version of the CBR300R would not be offered with anti-lock brakes. The lack of ABS, even as an option, was one of the things that differentiated it from the CBR300R which offered it at a $500 premium. That’s not the case north of the border however, as Honda Canada confirmed it will offer the CB300F with ABS as standard equipment.
