The Goldwing is Honda s flagship motorcycle touring platform. As such the Wing often showcases the latest in Honda technology, like ABS; but perhaps the most notable example in recent years is the Gold Wing s optional air bag the first motorcycle to offer the safety feature on a production unit. Current Honda Gold Wings offer options for integrated GPS and full audio systems, and all the touring goodies hard-core two-wheeled trekkers need. The Gold Wing also offers a reverse gear, helpful in backing up the claimed 895-928-lb curb weight (total weight dependent on optional accessories). Chattanooga Honda Dealer Fined for Allegedly Selling Recalled Models
Mon, 18 Mar 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has levied a $125,000 fine against Southern Honda Powersports following an investigation into allegations the Chattanooga, Tenn., dealership sold unrepaired recalled models. Southern Honda Powersports bills itself as the “World’s largest Honda powersports dealer”. Federal laws require dealers to stop selling models that are recalled until the defect or noncompliance issue has been remedied.
Honda CRF450R Gets Further Refined for 2014
Tue, 14 May 2013The CRF250R received a significant update for 2014, including a new frame and dual-exhaust setup first introduced in the CRF450R which itself received a substantial update year. The current-generation CRF450R may only be a year old, but that didn’t stop Honda from introducing a couple of refinements for 2014. For 2014, Honda had tweaked the engine, adding new intake and exhaust ports and a new dual-timing fuel injection setup.

The win was Webb’s second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.
