Honda Gold Wing description

You are looking at a 2004 Honda GL1800 Goldwing. It is the non ABS model. It currently has 31,706 miles on it and has been well maintained.It is Candy Black Cherry in color. This bike is in excellent condition and always kept under cover.There are just a couple of small scratches (molding trim on left side by adjustment panel, and right rear saddlebag. See pics) The paint still retains a good shine and has a very good gloss to it as well.

The bike has many extras that are installed or included.

Honda factory CB radio, CB Antennae kit, Honda factory 6 disc CD changer unit including Honda factory CD changer attachment kit (in rear trunk), Honda factory driving lights in the front, Honda factory Black Cherry Spoiler with light, Honda factory 3 piece luggage set, Honda factory carpeted deluxe saddle bag/trunk mat set, Kuryakyn Rear luggage rack, Kuryakyn luggage rack bag,  Kuryakyn driver back rest,  Kuryakyn grips with throttle boss, Kuryakyn floor boards with heal/toe shifter/brake, Kuryakyn Ergo cruise mounts, Kuryakyn turn down exhaust tips,  Delphi satellite radio receiver with rain cover (included but not installed or connected), drink holder, trunk light kit, trunk power plug, chrome front fender extension, Tulsa Enterprises mirror air deflectors, New Nelson-Rigg bike cover. NEW battery purchased three months ago.

Both keys are included with the bike and one remote control that locks and unlocks the rear trunk. The original owners manual and tool kit are also included with the bike as well. Both the headlights and rear shocks are adjustable with the push of a button.

The bike has the 1832cc 6 cylinder engine with a 5 speed manual transmission with reverse. The tires are in excellent condition with only 3453 +/- miles on them. Mechanically it is in excellent condition.

Honda to Produce MotoGP-Derived V4 Superbike

Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito announced plans to produce a new super sports bike derived from its RC213V MotoGP race bike. A V4 Honda sportsbike has long been rumored to be in development but it finally appears the project is getting the green light. Speaking about Honda’s plans for the next five years, Ito confirmed the sportbike is on its way, using technology from the company’s successful MotoGP program.

This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.

Dani Pedrosa is probably the most enigmatic of MotoGP’s “Aliens”. He doesn’t have the charisma of a Valentino Rossi, he doesn’t attract controversy like teammate Casey Stoner, and he doesn’t have the exuberant victory celebrations of Jorge Lorenzo. There’s also a large segment of American fans who still can’t forgive Pedrosa for taking out his teammate Nicky Hayden at Estoril in 2006, almost costing the Kentucky Kid the championship.
