Honda Gold Wing description

This motorcycle has had only one owner and has been in the garage except when riding. It was bought at Middletown Cycle and has been serviced there every time except the first time. It was done in Miami, FL while we were on our 1st trip.
It's a 6-cylinder, 4-stroke, 1832cc engine. Chrome engine guards, Cruise control, Reverse gear, Adjustable Windshield, Saddle Bags & Trunk bag w/removable Liners that double as overnight bags.   It also has Push-Button Adjustable Suspension that can be adjusted for 1 or 2 riders, or for being loaded lightly or for a trip.  It has a Chrome trunk rack and Lighted Trunk Spoiler, 6-CD Changer installed inside/under the Trunk that plays through the radio. There is also a Lighted Vanity Mirror inside the Trunk Cover.  It has a 12-volt plug for Phone or GPS and a connector for an iPod or any other MP3 Player that will also play through the radio.  It has Highway pegs & passenger armrests with cupholder.
It has connections and wires with it for the helmet intercom system.  Matching helmets are available, if you want them that are wired for the intercom, and painted to match the bike.
The Battery was just replaced at the beginning of May, 2015. It has been kept on a battery tender through the winter to keep it good.
The tires, front & rear were replaced with New Metzler tires with 14,171 mi. on the odometer, so they have approximately 6,000 mi. on them.  Most of the miles on this bike are highway miles. We have another bike we use if we are going less than 200 miles.
We have 2 keys for it and the owner's manual.
The color is called Magenta.  That's a fancy name for Purple.  It has also been Custom pinstriped using Blue & Turquoise.
   It's really a nice bike!!

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a  national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.
