2003 Honda Gold Wing 1800, I own and operate a premier motorcycle race shop called RaceworX. I build and tune top engines, chassis and complete bikes for club racing up to AMA racing. I have also installed over one hundred Traxxion Dynamics suspension upgrades on Gold Wings. I bought this bike for my personal use in 2005 with a little under 5500 miles. It was purchased from an auction in Florida with possible water damage. Because of this, the title is labeled reconditioned. Upon delivery I proceeded to strip it down to the frame and engine. There was zero evidence of water damage. I have been riding it since then with no problems. Garage kept. The current mileage is 37200. This bike is basically a 800 pound sport bike. You will not believe how this bike handles. If you know anyone who has the Traxxion Dynamics suspension upgrade just ask them. This is the same product I install in many track record setting race bikes. The particular kit I have installed is almost $4000.00 and worth every penny. It is night and day compared to a stock Gold Wing. The most beautiful race bike ever?

It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi. At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.

2014 AMA Supercross – Detroit Results

Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.
