Honda Gold Wing description

2003 Honda Gold Wing 1800, I own and operate a premier motorcycle race shop called RaceworX. I build and tune top engines, chassis and complete bikes for club racing up to AMA racing. I have also installed over one hundred Traxxion Dynamics suspension upgrades on Gold Wings. I bought this bike for my personal use in 2005 with a little under 5500 miles. It was purchased from an auction in Florida with possible water damage. Because of this, the title is labeled reconditioned. Upon delivery I proceeded to strip it down to the frame and engine. There was zero evidence of water damage. I have been riding it since then with no problems. Garage kept. The current mileage is 37200. This bike is basically a 800 pound sport bike. You will not believe how this bike handles. If you know anyone who has the Traxxion Dynamics suspension upgrade just ask them. This is the same product I install in many track record setting race bikes. The particular kit I have installed is almost $4000.00 and worth every penny. It is night and day compared to a stock Gold Wing. Here are some of the accessories I have installed: Extra Tall windshield with vent Luggage rack (Kuryakyn) Passenger arm rests with cup holder (Kuryakyn) Traxxion dynamics Mega Monty :// /forums/showthread.php?294000-Traxxion-Mega-Monty-shipped-today Driver pegs (Kuryakyn) Driving litghts Volt meter New air filter (Honda) Fresh oil and filter Air wings Heated grips Highway pegs (Kuryakyn) Rotor covers and ring of fire (Kuryakyn) J&M Interface module w\blue tooth New brakes (EBC) $13,000.00 8174738554

Used: MOTOTENT by Lone Rider

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

Since wild camping in the UK is generally regarded as trespassing, I opted for a crowded campsite in the heart of Sussex, open fires allowed, to see if the MOTOTENT is worth the £399 price tag. On the face of it the MOTOTENT is essentially a two man dome tent with a porch, Well I can pick up one of those up from Argos for £100 or less. Also I was struggling to understand why you would buy a tent that you can sleep in and store your bike in overnight, certainly in the UK most places you are likely to stay are fairly secure campsites.

Flooding in Thailand Not Expected to Affect Honda Motorcycle Production

Thu, 13 Oct 2011

Severe flooding in Thailand has disrupted Honda’s automobile production but the company’s motorcycle production is expected to proceed normally. Hundreds have been died since July due to heavy flooding in Thailand and several provinces remain underwater as the Asian nation experiences its worst floods in 50 years. Heavy monsoon rains from multiple storm systems over the last few weeks have added to the problem, affecting millions in northern and central Thailand.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
