American Honda Pledges $500,000 in Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief

American Honda announced a pledge of $500,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The contribution includes both monetary aide as well as Honda-produced portable generators and water pumps. Honda is also establishing a company fund, matching its associates’ personal contributions.

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT.
