Honda Gold Wing description

I am a private seller and a meticulous owner. This VERY LOW MILAGE PERFECT CONDITION 2002 GL1800 Honda Gold Wing has only 5,713 original miles. It has all the bells and whistles and all mechanicals are 100% perfect condition, including reverse gear. It starts immediately, runs like a dream and drives flawlessly. This bike has been pampered in every way. It has never been taken on a trip longer than 250 miles. It has never been crashed, dropped, or has any damage history of any kind. It has always been kept in a Climate Controlled Garage, and never driven in rain or snow; only perfect sunny weather. All Honda service and bulletins have been complied with. I have always used Hi Test Fuel and Synthetic Oil changed every 1,000 miles.
This beautiful Burnt Orange bike is my favorite Gold Wing color ever. I have ridden dozens of bikes all my life and have owned two Gold Wings previously. This particular bike has excellent balance, abundant power, sure braking, and excellent suspension responsiveness. My Gold Wing is very comfortable. My wife loves the luxurious rear cockpit seat. It is without a doubt the world's best touring bike, and I believe that the 2002 model is certainly one of the best Gold Wings ever made. Each year we have considered trading it in for a new one. But after test-drives, we just could not justify the extra expense.
Priced at $12,750 this Perfect Condition bike has a clean title, and with its extensive list of accessories, is a steal compared to the cost of a new, comparably equipped 2016 model which could cost in excess of $28,000 (incl. delivery and taxes).

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
