Honda Gold Wing description

The bike just over 70,000 miles on it.  I am still riding it.

The front tire was replaced at 65,282 miles.    I have added heated handle grip and an outlet for GPS (or whatever).  The alternator brushes were replaced at 67,550 miles on 2/12/13.  Oil and filter were changed at 69,662 miles.

The back tire needs to be replaced soon as it has over 22,000 miles on it but still looks OK.   However,  I have a new tire, beads, value stem and new brake pads ready to be put on.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.

Back when GPs were really good: Part 2

Tue, 01 Jan 2013

Rossi versus Gibernau at Brno in 2003. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
