Honda Gold Wing description

This is simply a wonderful, great running, dependable  motorcycle. The mileage may vary from the listed mileage because I still like to ride this bike. (A week ago  I put a comfortable 192 mile Sunday jaunt on it)  This was a pre-owned motorcycle when I got it for a specific vacation trip.
The SE model differs from the Aspencade and Interstate models of the same year.  The SE was the "loaded" version,  it came with reverse gear, CB radio,  Cruise control,  four speaker stereo sound,  adjustable foot rests for the passenger, intercom system for the driver and passenger,  foot warmers for the driver.
We live in a motorcycling Valhalla, also known as Southern California.  Having ridden the Tail of the Dragon four times I would never denigrate it,  but if you are not from our area it would be fun to show you some of the roads we ride, that challenge the Dragon, when you come to pick up the motorcycle. That is not to say you have to pick it up. I will cooperate with your shipper to get it to you. (At the buyers expense.)
The mileage may change a bit because this  motorcycle is a joy to ride.  I also reserve the right to cancel this listing as the motorcycle is listed for sale locally.

Hero MotoCorp Reveals RNT 150 Turbo Direct Injection Diesel Concept

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Hero MotoCorp revealed a new scooter concept powered by a 150cc turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. And if that isn’t unique enough, the concept is also two-wheel drive, with an electric motor in the front wheel hub. It’s too soon to know when the Hero RNT 150 TDI concept will ever make it to serial production, but the scooter does represent a technological show of force, proving that Hero can carry on its own research and development following its split from longtime partner Honda.

Intermot 2012: Honda CRF450 Rally Unveiled

Tue, 02 Oct 2012

Today at Intermot 2012, Honda unveiled the CRF450 Rally, the machine it plans to enter in the 2013 Dakar Rally, marking the manufacturer’s return to the race after more than two decades. Honda has competed nine times from 1981 in the forerunner of the present Dakar Rally, the Paris-Dakar Rally. Cyril Neveu of France took Honda to its first victory in 1982, the race’s fourth year, and from 1986 to 1989 Honda won four consecutive titles for an overall record of five victories in nine years. The CRF450 Rally is based on Honda’s commercial CRF450X enduro racing model, and features electronic fuel injection, auxiliary fuel tanks in the panniers and lower side fairings, and the requisite navigation equipment located behind the windscreen.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR1000RR First Impressions – Video

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

It may not have a fancy electronics suite like many of its rivals, but the Honda CBR1000RR has long been one of our favorite literbikes due to its light and nimble handling combined with strong, accessible torque. For 2014, Honda is upping the ante with the CBR1000RR SP edition. No, it still doesn’t have any electronic aids, but it does have a bevy of top shelf suspension components.
