Up for sale is a 1998 Honda Goldwing 1500 SE. It has taken me to many wonderful places without a hiccup. This motorcycle is set up for long distance touring. It has been very well cared for, and I have all the maintenance records going back to 2009. It has 123,068 miles on it and runs great. The bike needs nothing and is ready to go anywhere. I just put a brand new tire on the front (rear is in great shape) and changed the oil. If you are looking for a bike that will take you long distances or in the city in comfort and style, this is the bike for you. The trailers in the photos are not included in the sale of the motorcycle. Stoner explains the tank slapper
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors
Tue, 04 Sep 2012As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.
