THIS IS A NICE, WELL MAINTAINED TRIKE. IT HAS A FEW MILES ON IT BUT HAS LOTS OF LIFE LEFT ON IT. THE GOLDWING GL1500 MOTOR IS KNOWN FOR GOING WELL OVER 250,000 MILES WITH LITTLE TO NO PROBLEMS. THE TIMING BELTS WERE CHANGED AT 80,000 MILES AND IT HAS NEW FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS, STEERING HEAD BEARINGS, AND THE FRONT TIRE HAS ALMOST 2,000 MILES ON IT. THE BRAKES ALL LOOK GOOD AND THE BATTERY IS GOOD AND STRONG.

Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli

Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned  investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.
