Honda Gold Wing description

1994 Honda Gold Wing 1500, You would never guess this wasn't a new bike on the showroom floor it's so clean. 1994 and only 30,000 miles. Won't last long. Loaded. Please call me at 4o4/822-4422 and I will go over all the details. Clear title in hand. The Honda GL1500 Gold Wing, first manufactured in 1988, was also the first Wing with a liquid-cooled flat-six engine and a displacement of 1520 cc. Totally redesigned from the ground up, the GL1500 was the first mass produced six-cylinder motorcycle to have a reverse gear, which was big news for touring motorcycles in those days. All new bodywork on the GL1500 almost enclosed the whole machine, and the single key operation of the trunk and saddlebags, as well as the design on which not a single screw or bolt could be seen, showed that the Honda designers and engineers had spent a lot of time on this bike. Traditionalists complained that it looked, sounded and rode too much like a two-wheeled car and that riding it gave one a feeling of being insulated from the road. That opinion was seemingly ignored for 25 years until the introduction of the 2013 Gold Wing F6B, which had bagger-style design that opened up the rider to more of the biker experience whiole cutting over 60 pounds off the previous Gold Wing model's weight. Even with its detractors, the GL1500 was the template for decades to come, making the Gold Wing the de facto standard for all two-wheeled touring machines. The Aspencade was differentiated from the SE and the Interstate models with less features than the SE but more than the Interstate, and, with a few modifications over 13 years until the introduction of the GL1800 in 2001, was the foundation for all Honda Gold WIngs.
