This machine has been the source of many great rides. The engine just purrs. If you know Goldwings, you know at this low mileage, the bike is just getting warmed up ! I've customized this bike for comfortable, all-year riding.

These items are stock on all 1993 Goldwing SE models:

6-cyl, 1520cc engine
reverse ! Really helps with backing up !
electronic cruise control
front & rear speakers
adjustable passenger floorboards
AM/FM/cassette
CB
intercom
on-board air compressor with external link
foot heating vents
lighted trunk spoiler
The metal, side, kick-plate panels fell off but are included with the sale. You just need to re-attach them.

And these items I added to make the bike thoroughly comfortable for all-year riding and for visibility...  These items alone are worth over $2,000 !

new battery May 2014 kept on charger during "off season"
Show Chrome rear-fender driving and brake lights
Bad Boy air horn (in addition to dual stock horn) - cars are going to hear you beep !
front driving lights (replaced bottom cornering lights)
green LED front side lights
F4 Customs tall windshield
Corbin driver and passenger seat with driver and passenger back rests (driver back rests folds down)
Dunlop Elite 3 tires (front has only 1938 miles, rear has only 1793 miles)
Side air wings and hand air wings, color-matched to motorcycle
Kuryakyn handlebar grips and small throttle boss (large throttle boss is displayed)
Rear lower directionals
driver foot rests on crash bar
Saddlebag running lights
motorcycle cover
Clymer GL1500 service manual
12V power point in left front pocket
I still have some of the OEM parts if desired.

Pictured but NOT INCLUDED in sale:
XM mount (but I will include the cassette insert that provides playing an XM radio through the bike's intercom !)
GPS mount and cable
EZ Pass (but I'll leave the velcro mounting tabs on the windshield so you can attach your own EZ Pass)
Large throttle boss (but I installed a smaller one included in the sale)

Only damage is to ring around left, side-view mirror: a 1-inch piece on the bottom of the ring broke off. Also, cassette door doesn't stay closed (cassette plays fine). There are a few nicks here and there, barely noticeable.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
