Very nice Vetter equipped GL1000
I took the motor out over a year ago to repair the starter clutch that had gummed up
so all new
OEM clutch
internal chains
starter clutch rollers
water pump
neutral light switch (neutral light only shines in neutral!)
thermostat
valve seals
both base gaskets
carbs cleaned out
nice travelcade seat (I have the original king queen but split)
new brake pads
in spec resurfaced and drilled discs
stainless steel front brake lines
front forks air damped
new rear shocks
electronic ignition
gas gauge sender adjusted so it reads usefully
spin on oil filter mod
all rear lights LED
original speedo said 89 thousand I had to replace with a used one reading 49 thousand
Unfotunately I misplaced the side bag keys and havent managed a trip to key kraft on Church Street for new ones.

    Bradl's Red Bull Honda for Indy

    At the Indianapolis MotoGP Stefan Bradl's LCR Honda will be sporting this one-off Red Bull livery. The MotoGP rookie has been impressive so far in his debut year with a fantastic riding style. So hopefully he'll continue his run of form and encourage the energy drink giant to stay on board, as the colours look smart on the Honda RC213V.

    Mopar to Sponsor Canadian Superbike Championship

    Chrysler’s parts and accessories brand Mopar has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship. Mopar replaces Parts Canada which recently ended a 22-year partnership with CSBK over controversial comments made by the series organizer on an Internet forum. The seven-round CSBK series includes separate pro and amateur Superbike and Sportbike classes, as well as a Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and a new spec series for young riders featuring the Honda CBR250R.

    Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand

    Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
