78 Honda Goldwing. I purchased this bike from the son of the original owner after his father passed away(paperwork to prove it). Included with purchase are the original headlight assembly and turn signals, tool kit, owners manual, shop manual, and cycle sound radio. Since I bought it I have had the following work done--new tires and battery, fork seals replaced, new o-rings in cooling system, carbs rebuilt, new brakes. Speakers are DWG waterproof with amp--plug in I-pod for tunes. All work was done locally by "The Shop" a place that specializes in VINTAGE bikes NOT named Harley. The "not perfect"--left side panel is cracked, seat has a few small tears, the travel trunk key assembly is missing, small scratch on left side bag, tach doesn't work. As it sits now this bike will be someones daily driver. With a little TLC it would be a great show piece. American Honda Pledges $500,000 in Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief
Fri, 02 Nov 2012American Honda announced a pledge of $500,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The contribution includes both monetary aide as well as Honda-produced portable generators and water pumps. Honda is also establishing a company fund, matching its associates’ personal contributions.

Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets. Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force. At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag. Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125. Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park. I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed. What and how do I become a motocross champion?

Even although I had the dream ticket of riding for HRC in the 500cc World Championship I never stopped wanting to come back to the homeland and race my old mates. Brian Morrison started racing on the same day as myself and went on to have a successful carreer riding for Honda in the UK then later in the World Endurance Championship.
