I have a 1978 Honda Goldwing 1000 Sports Model. This bike is in excellent shape. It has been
totally gone through from top to bottom by my father who restores classic bikes (BSA, Norton & Triumph). It has a new battery, glass packs, factory headers, sounds nice. Not to loud. Tank has built in glove box with lots of room. Nice like new Corbin Saddleseat with no rips or tare's. Tanks been sealed, new fuel lines, filter & new pit cock. Carburetors have totally been redone with new kits & are synchronized, new plugs & wires, new throttle & clutch cables. Has clear windshield that goes with it. All gauge's operate smoothly. Alternator, temp, fuel, speedometer & RPM all work great. Has fm radio works great. Backrest is removable. New fork seals & brakes. Tires are in great shape. Orig paint. This bike is ready for the road and will take you where ever you want to go. 80,127 orig miles. I can't go anywhere on it without people giving me thumps up. Reason for selling I have to many bikes ride. |

Isle of Man TT 2013: Sure Sidecar Race 2 Results
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Brothers Ben and Tom Birchall rebounded from a disappointing finish to the first Sure Sidecar race with a solid victory in their second race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Birchall brothers had the early lead in the first race but were forced to retire on the first lap after puncturing a tire. Their second race went much better however, as they led from start to finish for their first ever win at the Isle of Man.
Honda Reports Q2 2011-2012 Results – Record Motorcycle Sales While Auto Sales Plummet
Mon, 31 Oct 2011Honda reports a 20.0% year-on-year increase in motorcycle and ATV sales over the second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. Despite a record second quarter for motorcycle sales, Honda saw a drop in net profit due to struggling auto sales and the aftereffects of the Japanese earthquake in March and flooding in Thailand.

Sat, 10 Dec 2011There are no plans yet to bring either model to the U.S., but Honda is bringing its new NC700S and NC700X models to Canada for the summer of 2012. American Honda will however, likely be keeping a close eye on how the new models do with its northern neighbor (or perhaps “neighbour”) before deciding whether to import the NC700 models stateside. Making their North American debuts at the 2011 Toronto Motorcycle Show, the naked standard NC700S and the more adventure-touring styled NC700X represent a new product family for Honda, sharing the same frame and 670cc parallel Twin engine with each other and the Honda Integra scooter-motorcycle crossover (speaking of which, there are no plans for the Integra to come to either the U.S.
