The GL 1000was the 3rd year for Honda's answer to the flat 4 mostly used by BMW. It's more like a car engine than the typical air cooled bikes that Honda had usually made since the Dream Era These bikes have several outlets for parts like Saber cycle, Randzacks, and many others. The GL 1000s are collectors items and are getting hard to find especially in this condition. Stoner Tops Time Sheets as Honda MotoGP Testing Resumes
Thu, 01 Mar 2012Missing a day of testing didn’t appear to have a negative effect on Honda riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa. After missing the second day of testing because of a potential engine problem, the Repsol Honda riders were back on the track for Day 3 where they regained the top two spots on the time sheets. Honda held back Stoner and Pedrosa as well as satellite team riders Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl yesterday to investigate an engine warning light that lit up on the dash of Pedrosa’s RC213V on Day 1.
Results From Day 2 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island
Tue, 18 Feb 2014If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. The former champ has a special ability when it comes to lapping middleweight sportbikes as quickly as possible, and it showed again at the conclusion of World Supersport testing at Phillip Island. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.

Wed, 24 Jun 2009Honda have been releasing video documentaries on… well… everything! Why? Well to toot their own horn and remind you that Honda is crazy cool. Actually, their videos aren’t that bad, although somewhat dramatic. I hunkered down and watched their “Failure: The Secret to Success” video and it held my attention. Their new video is titled “Dreams vs Nightmares”, which features a few notable people such as Clive Barker and Deepak Chopra. I’m curious to see how they take this theme and use it to show how and why Honda creates and designs the products they make.
