Honda Gold Wing description

1976 Honda Goldwing. 5-speed, 80hp, shaft-drive, water-cooled. I've owned bike for 3 years and rode approximately 3,000 miles. It's a wonderful cruiser. It's got 14,836 original miles and has had regular maintainance. The bike was in long term storage and between the previous owner and me the following areas have been addressed. Carbs rebuilt, engine polished, replaced filters, water pump, gas tank, $350.00 seat, belts, tires, fork seals, O-rings, rear fender, repaired radiator, extra chrome, repainted tank, side covers and added a Wixom fairing currently on bike. Fairing is easily removed. Original tool kit and period owners manual. Period Bates saddlebags and mounting brackets are available for extra cost. Lights on bags are added and need wiring. Bike is offered locally and will be removed if sold.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
