                                                                                      1975 Honda Gold Wing GL1000

You are bidding on my original vintage time capsule, 1975 Honda Gold Wing GL1000 in original blue which is one of 2 colors available that first year.  This is the first year for the Gold Wing and this one is an original vintage time warp.  It runs great.  I had it running today as a matter of fact and rode it about 50 miles and found it to be and excellent bike!!  I have the CLEAR TITLE.   The bike has its' original paint, exhaust, gauges and engine.  The engine is very very quiet and is so smooth.  No wonder Honda sold so darn many of these bikes back in the day, eh?   The bike has a nice set of Metzler tires on it.  The electronics all work nicely.  VIN:  GL1-1007974.

The bike needs nothing, just a new owner.  Are you the one?  Thanks.

This bike is located in Onsted, Michigan 49265 which is 62 miles southwest of Detroit and 45 minutes northwest of Toledo, Ohio.  I do not ship vehicles,  and I am not a dealer or a mechanic.  The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for their own shipping or pick the vehicle up.  I will store the vehicle for up to 30 days.  Please try to get it picked up by then, otherwise, storage fees of $10 per day will be added to what you owe. Thanks.

PAYMENT:  Please, PAY PAL ONLY.   I send you an Invoice as soon as the auction ends and you pay the Invoice then please.  You will need to give me your email address as soon as you buy the bike ok?  These are my terms.  Thank you.

Stoner Tops Day One of Sepang Test – Video

Tue, 28 Feb 2012

It’s been about a month since Casey Stoner last tested the Honda RC213V racebike at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit but the defending World Champion remains the man to beat, setting the fastest lap at the first day of MotoGP’s February Sepang test. Heavy rain limited teams’ testing and Stoner only completed 16 laps but still managed to set a time of 2:01.761. Stoner was the only rider to lap under 2:02, though his Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa came close with a time of 2:02.005 while completing 36 laps.

2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N Revealed, the First in a New Series Focused on Comfort, Technology and Experience

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

Honda pulled the covers off a new streetbike series aimed at younger, shorter riders. The Honda CTX700 represents the first in a new series from Honda combining the three tenets of Comfort, Technology and Experience. It’s a platform “specifically engineered to make motorcycling more approachable, affordable and fun than ever before.” Our own Troy Siahaan is at the CTX700 models’ launch in Chicago and will have a full first-hand report next week, but for now here’s a quick look at Honda’s new streetbikes.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
