Honda CT description

VERY NICE 1971 HONDA CT70  SURVIVOR.

I'VE HAD THIS CALIFORNIA BIKE FOR A WHILE NOW AND IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN KEPT IN MY GARAGE.  ALWAYS STARTS ON FIRST FEW KICKS.  THESE BIKES ARE GREAT FOR ALL AGES. THIS ONE WAS TAKEN CARE OF AND THE ORIGINAL SEAT PAN SHOWS IT.  I ADDED THE OPTIONAL SEAT BAR FOR PASSENGER AND SEAT PROTECTION.  THIS CT WAS RIDDEN LIGHTLY AS A TRAIL BIKE AND IT SHOWS.  YES, THERE ARE TYPICAL BODY & FENDER SCRATCHES, HERE AND THERE.  THE SPEEDO SHOWS 904 BUT IT IS LOCKED UP, SO ACTUAL MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN, BUT I WOULD SAY JUDGING BY THE CONDITION, IT'S LIKELY LOW.  I DIDN'T CLEAN IT OR ARMOR ALL ANYTHING. THIS BIKE REALLY RIDES NICE AND SMOOTH WITH PLENTY OF POWER.  ALL GEARS WORK FLAWLESSLY, BRAKES, HEADLIGHT ETC WORK AS THEY SHOULD.  YES, AS SEEN IN THE PICS, THE AIR BOX WAS SWAPPED, (I MIGHT HAVE A SPARE BUT NOT 100% SURE, IF FOUND, WILL GO WITH THE BIKE)  SLIGHT TEAR REAR OF SEAT ETC.  LOOK AT THE PICS AND ASK ME QUESTIONS.  I'VE HAD DOZENS OF MINITRAIL'S AND CT'S THROUGH THE YEARS, AND THIS ONE IS A NICE EXAMPLE OF AN ORIGINAL WELL KEPT BIKE.

Drool-worthy new trials bike

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

THIS is the new Montesa Cota 4RT260 Factory, a sort of BMW HP4 of the trials world. Developed in collaboration with Honda, and the Repsol Montesa Honda Trials team, it’s got a 259cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine designed to compete with smaller two-strokes while producing less emissions. There are two versions, the £5,699 standard 4RT260, aimed at amateur-to-advanced riders, and the more competition-focussed Factory Race Replica version, with Showa suspension, at £6,799.

Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.

Mon, 16 Jul 2012

At Mugello Honda graciously gifted Simoncelli's father Paolo with Marco's RC212V race bike from last season, along with this tribute-livery Honda CBR1000RR in his honour and memory.Unveiled in a special and emotional ceremony the Fireblade was designed by Aldo Drudi and was inspired by the memorable Super-Sic colours. The bike will be auctioned off on eBay to raise money for the Marco Simoncelli Foundation. Mugello marked the first Italian round since Simoncelli was tragically killed at Sepang last year.
