Honda CT description

2014 HONDA CTX700N, The continued brilliance of Honda engineering shines once again in the form of the 2014 CTX700N. This is a bike specifically engineered to make motorcycling more approachable and fun. Thanks to a low seat height of only 28.3 inches (719 mm), riders can quickly get acclimated to life in the saddle. The 670 cc parallel-twin engine features cylinders canted 62 degrees forward for better weight distribution and a lower center of gravity for ease of handling. This smooth-running fuel-injected engine pumps out good low-end and midrange torque to simplify launching from stops. Like its sibling, the CTX700N comes equipped with Antilock Braking System (ABS) and an easy shifting 6-speed manual transmission. A small, but handy glove box area is integrated into the fuel tank cover in front of the rider. All in all, the CTX700N is an amazingly fun, friendly and comfortable bike that is perfect for everyday rides, weekend trips, two-up exploring or just about anything else you can dream up.

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Honda‘s work developing its second-generation dual clutch transmission appears to be paying off, at least in Europe. According to Honda, customers have purchased more than 12,500 units with DCT since the technology was first made available on a production motorcycle with the VFR1200F in 2010. The Japanese manufacturer now offers four models in Europe with optional DCT: the VFR1200F, the NC700X, the NC700S, and the Crosstourer.
