You are bidding on a semi-restored 1978 Honda CT 70 MiniTrail. The bike is in very good condition. The bike is powered by a 70cc four stroke engine with a three speed automatic transmission. The 1978 model only came in black and have been one of the hardest models to find. The bike runs and drives very good. The tires are in very good shape. The bike is listed for sale locally and will probably be taking it to the vintage bike show at Barber Motorsports in Leeds, AL if it does not sell. I can deliver bike to the show if needed. 2013 AIMExpo: Skidbike
Mon, 21 Oct 2013One of the most inventive devices seen at this week’s AIMExpo is the Skidbike, a novel creation that helps teach riders the skills to balance and to master threshold braking. It’s a Swedish/American invention originally designed to educate riders how to sufficiently apply brakes to avoid an accident without the danger of tipping over and causing injuries. It uses an electrically operated hydraulic ram built on a hinged dolly to reduce front-tire grip, which drastically reduces speeds when traction is lost so riders can learn how to use the brakes effectively.
