Up for sale is this really nice 1972 Honda CT70 which has been completely disassembled (other than the engine) and restored. The bikes frame,swing arm front forks,rear shocks and rims where all bead blasted down to bare metal then Primed,Powder Coated and then cleared .Every nut and bolt where machine polished then hand polished or replaced with OEM ones. All Chrome pieces where also polished or replaced with OEM parts. The back Taillight Bracket you cannot get anywhere so it was rechromed .I will try to list all the new parts on the bike. If there is something you don't see replaced just contact me.This bike runs really good and only has 3,000 miles on it so I did not rebuild the engine I just cleaned it up and put in new spark plug,points, oil and painted both side covers.This bike does not have a reserve so high bidder gets the bike.Again if you have a question please contact me. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
