Honda CT description

Up for sale is a very sweet 1970 CT70. I have had this bike for over 25 years, and now it's time to let it go. The bike is sold with bill of sale only. It didn't have a title when I bought it, and I never registered it.

It is very, very original. I put new tires on it a couple of years ago, rear brake cable is black, I added a rack. Aside from that it's original. The seat cover is original, no rips or cuts, but you can see that after 43 years the Honda letters are starting to peel a little. Bike starts right up and runs great, three speed auto. This bike is a true survivor. Paint is very nice as is the chrome, there are a couple of scratches and one small dent in one of the chrome heat shields. You can see it in the pic. The first owner wired the horn and lights so when its running they work, and they work well. No need for a battery. The wiring was not butchered, so if you want a puny, only lasts a year battery, you can. The bike has been used over the years so it never sat for too long, and has always been garaged and well maintained in San Diego. Don't know what else to say except you would be hard pressed to find a nicer original bike. If you have any questions or need another pic, just ask.
Thanks for looking

2013 AMA Supercross Anaheim 2 Race Report

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Ryan Villopoto claimed his first win of the 2013 AMA Supercross season and his first since the knee injury at last year’s Seattle round that kept him out of the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The victory in front of 37,789 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., made up for his disappointing 16th place finish two weeks earlier at the same site. His Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Jake Weimer held the early advantage in the main event, taking the holeshot ahead of the Honda Muscle Milk duo of Justin Barcia and Trey Canard.

Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results

Tue, 02 Aug 2011

Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year.  The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2

Thu, 01 May 2014

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike.  The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
