Original 1968 Honda Trail 90, Runs and Looks Great! Here we have for sale a nice original 1968 Honda Trail 90 motorcycle. I bought this bike from the original owners, who purchased the bike brand new from a dealer in Southern California. They owned it and rode it down in South Calirfornia for many years before they brought the bike up north to Reno where it just sat for many many years before I bought it. The original owners never rode it much, it have just under 4K original miles on it. The bike does show some age and wear, mostly because of the arid climate that it spent most of its life in. The chrome has some patina on it and the paint does too. However the paint is original and shines really well. This is a great bike that is nice enough to ride and enjoy and have fun not worrying if it gets a scratch or chip in the paint. The engine cases show some wear on the sides on them. The tires have been replaced with larg diameter Chen Shin tires but they are cracked. They hold air just fine, if you just plan on riding it occasionally, I am sure they will be fine. The plastic headlight bucket is original and very nice on this bike. These typically crack down by the mounting screw hole, but not on this one. The plastic is really nice. This bike was always stored indoors, and it shows it. The front fender is nice but it does has a little tweak in the metal. The original rubber flap is real nice on the fender. The handlebars and controls are all in good condition and don't have anything wrong with them. The original cables are pretty nice on the bike. The bike still has its original frame wrap on it, which is uncommon, those are typically missing. The seat has been replaced with an extract oem replacement. The chrome exhaust is really nice and doesn't have any issues or rust issues. I put a brand new chain on the bike, rebuilt the carburetor, and adjusted it. I adjusted the valves, changed the oil, put a brand new battery in the bike. I also made sure that all of the electrical works too, i.e., horn, headlights, tail light. The bike runs and rides really nice. The carb has been a little tricky to tune but I think I have it running well. It may need a slight adjustment wherever the new owner ships the bike to. Overall this is a really clean original early Honda 90 with the dual range transmission on the bike to make it easy for off road trail riding. The bike is not perfect, it is unrestored and shows its wear and age but still a nice clean example that you will be proud to ride and enjoy. I have the original owners California title still with the bike. The original tool kit is still with the bike, right where it should be in the side cover. The original key is still with the bike. Stoner Pulls Back, Skips Day 1 of Honda MotoGP Testing at Sepang
Tue, 31 Jan 2012Reigning MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner pulled his back during his morning stretches leaving teammate Dani Pedrosa to fly the Repsol Honda colors on the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit. As Stoner received treatment for his back, Pedrosa put in 48 laps to lead all riders. Riding the Honda RC213V, Pedrosa’s best lap time was 2:02.003, making him second fastest on the day behind only Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo and his 2:01.657 time.
