2013 HONDA CRF450R, Winning Is Everything. Everyone is going to remember 2013 as the year Honda took the 450 class and blew it WIDE open with the totally redesigned CRF450R. Huge changes are going to jump out at you. First is the CRF450Rs all-new air-fork front suspension. Nearly two pounds lighter than a coil-spring fork, it offers easier adjustment, less internal friction, and even better handling. Next, an all-new twin-spar aluminum frame. Youll see some big changes in the steering-head area. Thats because the frame is designed specifically to work with the new fork. Check out the CRF450Rs short radical new twin exhaust. The system moves the mufflers in way closer to the bikes center of mass. Theyre super short and compact, and work in perfect concert with the 2013 models new bodywork to make this the most flickable CRF450R ever! In fact, everywhere you look youre going to see upgrades this year: The engine gets a new piston shape, porting, and valve timing, along with more compression for more power. Wed, 08 Dec 2010Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old. Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
2012 Honda Models Announced with Bolder, Newer Colors
Mon, 04 Jul 2011American Honda announced four off-road motorcycles and its entry level Rebel cruiser as part of its 2012 lineup. Returning for 2012 are the Honda CRF450X, CRF250X, CRF230F, CRF150F and Rebel, all unchanged except for some color and graphic updates. “This latest release highlights a variety of machines available to Honda customers,” says Bill Savino, Honda powersports press manager.”Here we have a big assortment of off-road machines suitable for the entire family, plus a great beginner bike that has given thousands of street riders a friendly introduction to our sport.
Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 28 Feb 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.
