Next, an all-new twin-spar aluminum frame. You’ll see some big changes in the steering-head area. That’s because the frame is designed specifically to work with the new fork. Check out the CRF450R’s short radical new twin exhaust. The system moves the mufflers in way closer to the bike’s center of mass. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
Honda Reveals First Look of Electric Motorcycle – With a Parade Float

Today, Honda released another glimpse of a future electric motorcycle in, of all places, a rendering of its float for the 2023 Rose Parade.
2012 Honda CBR1000RR Leaked
Thu, 18 Aug 2011Pictures of the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR have leaked from a distributor in Hong Kong, revealing some updates including a Showa Big Piston Fork, updated display and styling facelifts. The photos show the new Honda Fireblade (as it’s known in other markets) in HRC tri-color trim which, judging from color options offered on other recent Honda models, won’t be available in the U.S. 2012 also marks the 20th year of the RR so an special anniversary paint scheme might be offered.
